In the Hawaiian language, the Petroglyphs are called "ki'i pohaku", meaning "image in stone". The term "petroglyph" especially applies to pictures and symbols carved into a rock surface by the people of prehistoric time.

Each Tagua jewelry is available with brown outer shell or cut into a circle or oval shape depending on the chosen petroglyph. Sizes will varie since each Tagua slice is unique and different, with its own shape and size.
